The Art of Acupressure

Acupressure is a Chinese massage technique based on the principles of acupuncture, using fingers or knuckles to apply pressure on specific points along the body. It is a unique technique for releasing blockages of energy in the body.

The acupoints consist of meridian pathways that carry energy through the body. When circulation is low, toxins accumulate and muscles tighten. Releasing these points along specific meridians helps restore good circulation and heal muscle pain.

There are 14 main meridians throughout the body. Each meridian is related to our internal organs. When organs are out of balance, the related meridians become tight or painful when touched. Massaging these meridians not only releases muscle tension but also helps rebalance the organs.

Acupressure can help alleviate tension, stress, fatigue, aches, pains, menstrual cramps, migraines, insomnia, dizziness, digestive disorders, and arthritis. It can also be used for general preventative health care.

Maintaining Good Health

When circulation is poor, the body accumulates toxins and blood quality drops. This results in sickness, fatigue, and muscle tightness. These simple habits help keep circulation strong.

Eat Slowly

When food isn't chewed properly, it sits undigested and begins to decay in the stomach. The intestines then absorb those toxins back into the blood, lowering blood quality.

Sleep Early

The gallbladder and liver clean toxins and rebuild blood quality. They do their deepest work between 11 pm and 3 am. Staying awake during this window prevents these organs from fully regenerating.

Walk Daily

Heavy exercise or sports put more strain on the body than they help. 30–60 minutes of walking each day is the most suitable exercise for maintaining good circulation.

The Organ Energy Clock

Each organ system has peak energy hours. Recurring discomfort at a specific time of day can indicate which meridian needs attention.
